I found my other little dog, Daiquiri,dead this morning. She was throwing up a little yesterday. I tried to give him some Pepto Bismol but she wouldn't open her mouth. She was 15. Maybe she missed her sister Tapestry too much. Daiquiri was a cream colored, Teacup Pom. She followed me like my shadow. It will take some adjusting around here. Now my family is down to 2 cats.

Oh, I'm so sorry! Our animal friends add so much to our families and lives that it's very sad when we have to say goodbye. I'm sending you and yours thoughts of healing, peace, and strength. Cats included, 'cause I know they'll also sense the loss.

Thanks. You're right about the cats. They loved her, but she hated them because they picked on her. They are bigger than she was.

Thanks, Kelsey. She was Jack's dog, but she picked me instead of him. But he always wanted a Teacup Pom, so losing her makes me feel really bad.

Thanks MB. My friend offered me a Jack Russell, but I really don't want another dog. I'm not home much and they need attention. I still have Ebony cat and Herbie cat.

Man, sounds like you're having a hell of a time over there. Hugs to you. I lost my cat this summer -- had her for 15 years, but she was a mess and it was time for her to go. It's a little easier when when you know their time is coming, so you can prepare. But to lose a dog so suddenly must be awful.

Something good had damn well be just around the corner for you, or I'm going to be seriously hacked off.

Hi Rose. Yeah, I think something stupendous will happen to me. I think probably some book publisher will start calling me, begging for all my books. And then agents will hound me to rep me and I will say, "Sorry, you aren't needed."
