It's a Date!

mood: drained drained

I finally got a Probate court date! My lawyer told me it would take two weeks to get one, so I waited almost four before I called her to check. She forgot about me again! The secretary said she would call the courthouse and call me right back. In ten minutes she had a date! So why would it take my attorney two weeks?
Anyway, it's September 26, at 1:30. And then, win or lose, at least it will be over and I can start to move on.

Thanks Robin. I'll just be glad to get it behind me! I have a bunch of Jack's stuff sold that has titles--a couple vans, a camper and a truck and I can't let them go because the titles are in his name. So that will be a relief too.

I hear ya! Actually, I'm preparing something to say to the judge myself. My lawyer will be there, but I just can't trust her to fight for me, so I figure I can do better than she can.

Well, believe me, there are times my attitude goes south. But, I'm just keeping busy and working on my revision and hoping my book improves enough to snag an agent. That way I don't think about it too much.

I can't wait for this to be over for you-but I'm still a 'polly-anna' and I hope for the best for you. But worse case scenario, you can move in w/me in TN! We'll share B0-he loves people! It's just other dogs he can't stomach.
Sept. 26th will be here before you know it-the way time is marching along, so you don't have too much longer. Just pray for strength-whichever way it goes and know if a door closes, God opens a window.
